It's nice to see, for a change, a Republican actually praising government employees, rather than calling them parasites and part of the Deep State.

I am honored to be appointed by Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick to Chair the Sunset Commission. We are tasked with cutting government waste of taxpayers’ dollars by ensuring our state agencies function efficiently and effectively. Simply put, if an agency isn’t running well, it should be improved or shut down. I look forward to studying the agencies up for review to ensure they provide Texans the best services possible. ... We can easily save a tremendous amount of money by ending Abbott's stupid PR stunt of a "wall".

Watch, as "mysteriously" all the agencies that get cut are the ones that actually help people.

There should be a couple non politician citizens on there.

I’m sure you both have certain agencies already targeted to shutdown, more regressive republican politics.

Congratulations!
